Terms of Service

By accessing or using GroundWork ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

GroundWork is an Australian rules football (AFL) skills training platform powered by artificial intelligence. The Service helps athletes plan training sessions, browse and submit drills, track progress, and receive AI-generated coaching suggestions tailored to their profile and goals.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 10 years old to use the Service. Administrators may invite athletes via email; invited users must complete registration through the link provided.

We collect and process personal and training data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to that processing. You agree not to upload or share data about others without their permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm others or submit offensive or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service without permission
• Misrepresent your identity, club affiliation, or athletic credentials

Training sessions, drill recommendations, and coaching messages may be generated by artificial intelligence. These outputs are suggestions only and do not constitute professional coaching, medical, or sports science advice. You are responsible for assessing safety and suitability before undertaking any training. Always follow your club, league, and health professional guidance.

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by GroundWork or its licensors. Drill content you submit grants us a licence to host, display, and use it within the platform (including after approval for the drill library). You retain ownership of your original submissions subject to that licence.

Certain features of GroundWork require a paid subscription. Plan names, features, and pricing are shown at checkout and in your account before you subscribe. Prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated and may include applicable taxes.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Your payment method will be charged on each renewal date at the then-current rate for your plan.

Cancellation. Athletes may cancel a subscription at any time through account settings (where available) or by contacting support@groundwork.app. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to any free tier or limited access we offer at that time.

Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or features you did not use. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where they cannot be excluded.

Price changes.We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for your plan. The notice may be sent by email or shown in the Service. If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel before the increase applies; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Billing and subscription status are managed in accordance with these terms and Stripe's applicable terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroundWork and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content or training activities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or AUD $100 if no fees were paid), except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for disputes arising from these terms or the Service.
