Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use GroundWork:

  • Account details: name, email address, and authentication identifiers
  • Profile information: age, club, playing position, skill focus, experience level, and profile photo
  • Training data: sessions, drill progress, goals achieved, XP, and related activity within the app
  • Billing and subscription: subscription status, current billing period end date, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers linked to your account. If you subscribe, we also send your name and email to Stripe when creating or managing your billing profile. We do not store your full payment card number, CVV, or bank account details on GroundWork servers — Stripe collects and processes payment information on our behalf.
  • Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and usage logs needed to operate and secure the Service

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, personalise, and improve the training platform
  • Generate AI-assisted session plans and coaching responses
  • Track progress, gamification, and difficulty adjustments
  • Process subscriptions, verify paid access, and manage renewals or cancellations
  • Communicate about your account, invites, security, billing, and material plan or pricing changes
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

Data Storage

Data is stored using Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). Data is hosted in the region configured for our Supabase project, which is selected to align with applicable data residency requirements. We apply access controls and industry standard security practices; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third Party Services

We rely on trusted providers to operate the Service, including:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and storage
  • OpenAI — AI-generated session and coaching content (prompts may include profile and drill context)
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery
  • Stripe — subscription checkout, payment processing, and billing webhooks. Stripe may process data in countries outside Australia. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment and identity data.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Subscription and billing records (including Stripe identifiers and subscription status) may be kept for a reasonable period after cancellation to handle chargebacks, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs (for example, backups, billing records, or legal holds).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at coachsamglover@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email where appropriate.
